The Pi Upsilon chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. considers for membership the most intelligent, well rounded, and talented men whose personal, social and academic qualifications are acceptable to the Fraternity. We are not merely interested in the accumulation of members. The chapter's emphasis, however, is in the quality, dedication and integrity of its membership.

 

The MINIMUM requirements for membership set forth by the national organization of Alpha Phi Alpha are as follows:

 

--MINIMUM overall GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 grade scale)

--MINIMUM GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 grade scale) from the last completed semester

--MINIMUM 15 credit hours completed

--Full-time student in the current semester

 

Note: These standards are the bare minimum... Pi Upsilon chapter has a tradition of excellence, and while we will consider all men who meet these requirements, merely meeting these requirements alone will not guarantee membership in either this chapter or the fraternity.
